I cover Surrey, South West London, Berkshire, Hampshire and Sussex and will travel up to 5 miles of my home in Weybridge free of charge. After the first 5 miles I charge 45p per mile. I can advise you of the cost of travel at the initial enquiry and would confirm everything in writing to you.
What Products Do You Use?
I use a wide range of high quality products such as Chanel, Dior, Shu Uemura, Laura Mercier, MAC, Bobbi Brown and Benefit as well as Airbrush make-up (see below) etc. I have used these products for a long time and know they are reliable. If you have any special requirements or skin sensitivities please let me know at the time of booking.
Is Airbrush Make-Up Better Than Conventional Make-Up?
Airbrush make-up is both very sheer and extremely long-lasting so is ideal for brides. It was developed originally for HD film and tv and because the particles are so fine it gives a very sheer and natural look and requires virtually no maintenance throughout a long day. Most people say they feel as though they aren't wearing make-up! However conventional make-up, if applied properly, is perfectly adequate but will require a little maintenance thoughout the day to ensure it lasts.
Do You Cater for Black or Asian Clients?
Yes absolutely. I am a professional make-up artist and have experience of working with Black and Asian clients and my kit reflects this with products for every skin tone.
How Long Does the Trial Take?
For both hair & make-up, the trial generally takes between 2 and 3 hours. It may be slightly more or less but my main aim is to ensure that you are entirely happy with the finished look. For just hair or just make-up the trial will be a little shorter.
How Long Does Hair & Make-Up Take on the Wedding Day?
I generally allow 1 hour for members of the wedding party (for both hair & make-up) and about 1 1/2 hours for the Bride. It may vary however depending on the styles chosen.
How Do I Book You?
You can phone me or email me to discuss your requirements. Once you have decided to proceed we will arrange a date for the trial and I will send you my bank details to pay a deposit in order to secure the wedding date. This is non refundable in the event that you cancel the booking but will be deducted from the final amount. For a wedding, following a successful trial, you will then need to pay the full amount to secure the date. For a larger wedding party (fees in excess of £500) I can split the payment in two with half payable at the end of the Trial and the remainder payable one month before the Wedding Day.
What Happens If you Are Ill on the Day?
In the unlikely event that this should happen, I have a network of make-up artists and hairstylists that I am in regular contact with and so should be able to find someone to step in. I take detailed notes and photos at the time of the trial which I would pass over to the substitute artist. However this has never happened.
